Needs no explanation: make your pick, and in January you'll either be gloating or eating crow.

I'm picking Alabama; Notre Dame hasn't faced a team of their size and burliness all year, and I think that nasty defense and o-line can grind out a victory.

Ala was listed as a 9 pt favorite in Vegas over ND BEFORE today's game.

Did the Alabama Nose Tackle get a hyper extended Knee and will he be able to play 5 weeks from now, anyone know?

I think it'll be a close game, but The Tide will win. ND has played a few tough teams, but nobody from the SEC. And brutal SEC football is on a whole different level.

The bowl game is in Miami which would be SEC territory (aka "home" game and 3 points) and the conference is hyped up.

I don't see a blowout either way. The Irish D will have to shut down the run to win. They have the talent to do just that. Having a mobile QB will be the difference on offense for the Irish. ND hasn't given up the big play all year, if they keep it up they should be OK. Big plays and lack of a run D did UGA in tonight. ND matches up very well against the tide. It will be epic.

Yeah I'm sure those bloodbaths with Missouri, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Auburn, Western Carolina, Florida Atlantic, and Kentucky were brutal.
