Yeah they are showing a lot of tight shots of the crowd that is there. Perhaps they should put the game in the better overall or division record home stadium.
WA wins with a late UT pass incompletion that probably was interference. But Utah could not challenge, so the game ends on that. Doesn't mean Utah would have won it however.
So if Ohio State wins the Big10 championship by any meaningful manner tomorrow, they will advance to the playoffs, letting Michigan into the Rose Bowl against Washington for the 5th time in history. Michigan-Washington Rose Bowl history: 2-2 tied
Three important bowl games starting tonight for the Pac-12. Washington State vs. Iowa State in the Alamo Bowl, then Oregon vs. Michigan State on New Years Eve, (Redbox Bowl), and of course WA vs Ohio State at the Rose Bowl. The Pac-12 needs wins in all these games!
We attended the Alamo bowl last night - pretty good game with the Cyclones coming up a 2 point conversion short to tie The Pirate’s Cougars at the end of the game.
Washington came out totally impotent in the Rose Bowl today. An admirable comeback, but way too little, too late. Overall, the Pac-12 came out so-so. I Like the Cougars win, but after that the wins by Oregon and Stanford were less than overwhelming. The Utah collapse was completely unacceptable for the Pac.
Ohio State was so dominant in the first half, I thought the game would end up 42-10 or something. Washington played great in the 4th quarter, but to little too late.

Youth football participation in California is undergoing a significant decline, in large part because of concern about head injuries. Between 2011-12 and 2017-18, participation decreased by a net 11%. That's just a 6 year trend; extrapolate from that and we may see the end of College football within a generation.
