Tonight's game is proof...that once again...USC was way overrated. The media and sports announcers keep acting like they're gods each year...and each year they get beat by teams like Oregon State or Stanford (with the exception of the years they were actually a decent team and made the title game for those couple years). I'm not taking anything away from OSU or Stanford...they deserved what they got...but if USC is so amazingly good like people seem to think....those teams shouldn't be able to keep it close. Mark Sanchez for example is not very good. If you take him off USC and put him on any other Pac 10 team he would not receive any publicity. Why? Because he's not very good and the only reason you hear his name is because he is the qb of USC. He's not the only overrated person on the team either. USC is rarely very good and frankly I'm sick of hearing about them. Any top 10 team (with the exception of big 10 teams) could beat USC. This won't be USC's only Pac 10 loss this year and they won't win the Pac 10 title.

their season is over. they should plummet in the polls, and due to their weak schedule, they stand no chance in playing for a NC.

I love it. Just shows that preseason polls are useless.
The USC fanatics will no doubt use this to show how tough it is to consistently dominate in the Pac-10, and that USC has a tough schedule.
However the honest ones will admit that Ohio State was not the only over-rated team heading into this season.

They should bring the polls out after week 4, the polls mean absolutley nothing until the teams have played at least 3 games to know and judge them properly.

Every year, we have the annual knob scobbing of USC. Every year, they joke to somebody. I watched that game last night and realized that 6-7 teams in the SEC would have run over USC, 3 from the Big 12, and maybe Penn State or Wisconsin.

True. The weak schedule will be their real downfall.

As a Sooner fan, I took great pleasure in watching the trojans get their ***** handed to them. In fact, I am watching the replay now

I'm not one to trash talk because Stoops has to step up and prepare our guys for their bowl games (see recent years ), but I can't think of another team (besides that awful burnt orange team from tx) that I hate more.

Boomer Sooner!!!

I have a feeling that there are about 50 teams better than ohio state, starting with a couple in their own division.
