If it makes you feel any better (keep in mind I suck at/don't have the mind for math), I had to take remedial math my freshman year of college and later somehow managed to pass both pre-calculus and undergraduate statistics with Bs.
Six years later, I decided to take grad level statistics for my masters (my program was heavliy qualitative) and while I still don't fully understand what to do without having my notes present, I showed enough initiative and willingness to come to him for help that the professor gave me a B.
