Hey, I don't know if I already asked this and forgive me if I have, but I made a post on another section of the forum, basically my roommate will probably be leaving in May and I may have 1-4 more classes left at that time. It's really going to put me in a bind financially and I was wondering if a person can get more than just the allotted first year for loans in GRAD SCHOOL. I took out the max for this semester and next which is 20,500, but are you allowed to do it again for next year?

You can get the loans every semester you are in school, not just the 1st.

Most schools will let you borrow lots and lots of money. Hope your degree is going to pay off - otherwise you're going to regret it. I wish I'd lived cheaper and borrowed less.

This.

Grad loans at relatively high interest are happily doled out year after year. If you stick with it long enough, you may even find yourself taking out Grad Plus loans at even higher interest.
