Hi, there,

As I'm applying for an accountancy master program (as domestic student), needs some indications/suggestions. More specifically, the program is from Bauer College of Business - UH.

My situation:
Education check-record is relatively weak, language test scores are just a little over the bars. (TOFEL 83, GMAT 550, GPA 3.05). Took 4 prerequisite courses (3 "A" and 1 "B"). Don't have very strong recommendation letter. I got BA/MA from somewhere else, and have several years of management experiences in an international college.

Question:
How possible will this case be rejected by them?
If so, how could I improve to make it accepted? (Deadline for application is 11/15, I still gotta some time.)

Or which forum I should go to post the question?

Appreciate your response.

Linda

Do you need this to be eligible for the CPA?

If you already have the hours just get the CPA and save your money.

Thanks for the response.
The purpose to get involved into such a program is to get these hours so as to improve the spoken English.

According what I got right now, don't know if I could get enrolled.
And more, if so , don't know if I could get any volunteer/intern position somewhere further.

Im not sure what you are getting at? You want to take this program to improve your English? Not sure what you mean by volunteer or intern positions.

I'm an alien with green card. My spoken English is really poor. As communication is really important for being an accountant. So I want to spend sometime in college for improving that.

And when I take the course, I also want to become a volunteer or intern somewhere in accounting business.

I hope this does not sound weird.
