Transferring (school, masters, transfer, attend)

There may be a chance that I will have to transfer to another college/ university in another state(possibly country) for my B.S. and I am currently attending a local school for my A.S.

My goal is either a B.S. or a B.A.S. for my short term, and eventually a Masters, but right now I just want to focus on one thing out of a time. The question that I have is should I continue on with my A.S. and then transfer or just get my A.A. and then transfer? So far I am getting 50/50 with friends and family.
