Not to kick you while you are down, but if you want to go to grad school you really should know how to spell "counselor."

First I thought, "With what sort of council is the OP involved?"
Then I thought, "Does he really mean counselor, and does he not know the difference?"
Then I wondered... "why is he meeting with a counselor and not an advisor?"

Didn't notice that, my computer has this auto spell-check thing on it, I'm trying to say Counselor.
I don't get this thread. Is your dad your counselor? If not, what does he have to do with grad school?
