My daughter eventually wants to attend school in France after her undergraduate studies. Specifically, she wants to attend the National School of Fine Art in Paris. I have no idea how this works and if it's even feasible. Trying to plan, as a parent, for something for which I am totally unfamiliar is challenging. Does anyone have any information on how schools/graduate schools work in France? Is it even possible for an American to do this? As an aside, speaking French is not a concern to her - she understands all of her classes will be in French. Also, funding this effort is not an issue but I would at least like to know how much I should expect to spend.
This whole Fine Arts thing is outside my comfort zone. I was a STEM major and so find it difficult to offer any advice at all to her.
Post grad? Let her figure it out and pay for it. Seriously. My daughter applied to colleges for grad school, visited them and while she talked with us about the possibilities, she figured it all out on her own. We would not fund a post grad career in fine arts.
Thanks! This should help me quite a bit. I'm the planner and tend to like to have everything all organized. My daughter is a bit more of a spontaneous planner. So, I wanted to at least be knowledgeable about the process/setup at university in France.

Hopefully she meets a rich bachelor.
