I was originally going for finance but the current sequence of courses would set me back another two years, not something I want to do. Is BBA worthless, or can you do a lot with it if youve got well rounded experience?

Considering the number of business bureaucrats being laid off I would venture a guess that a new business degree would be pretty much uselless for the next 10 years.

Business degrees are not worthless but you will want to get an area of specialization. Going for finance is not a waste of time.

I'd suggest you start water proofing your cardboard box and find a safe bridge to live under...

I wouldn't say it's useless. Might it be harder to get a job than before? Sure, it probably will, but right now it looks like it will be that way for any degree. Programs vary, but take any opportunity to challenge yourself and make sure you figure out some sort of skill that you can take to a job. Accounting is a big one. Finance knowledge is also helpful, all the people losing money are suing each other so consulting and legal firms need someone who can make sense out of financial statements. Whatever you do, don't just coast through and expect to start at $60k.

I need to find a cardboard box first. Hopefully I can still find one for free.

I wonder if it isnt more useful to just finish my undergrad in business and then go back and specialize in grad school. Wouldnt that be more useful in the long run anyway?

It is not useless. It is just not the right time to get a business degree. If I could go back, I would have done Computer Sciece, Industrial Engeneering, Information Systems, or something like that. If you really wanted to stay in the Business side of education I would suggest accounting finishing your CPA right away.
