Hi, i'm an asian student with GCE Olevels and a 3-year design diploma from a local vocational institute. I have no clue as to how to measure up my qualifications against that of a GED/high school diploma but my biggest question is: am i required to take the Alevels in order to go to college?

I understand it'd be easier for me to go to art school but i no longer wish to pursue design (not formally anyway) and want to study Anthropology. (Or something along that track) What university would be best for me? In line with the fact that i do not have Alevels and one that would still be good and accepting.

My SATs are 640 each for CR and Math. Should i try to raise them? What is the most essential step i should take now?

My apologies for the confusion. I don't regret doing 3 years of design but the thought of spending an extra year or 2 on A's before another 4 of college is just dreadful. The financial burden of taking private A's locally would also be heavy. But if that is what would allow me to go to uni, i'll do it.

If you want to study in the US, you need to have your credentials evaluated by a service like WES or ECE to find out what your next step is.
