I'm looking for information about Monument Hill CC fka Woodmoor Pines I believe.

Anyone have an opinion on the facilities, the general vibe, memebership fees?

We are not golfers AT ALL, but like the idea of a community club nearby as long as it is not over-the-top snobby, and is family friendly.

Might be cost prohibitive for us in the end..but I'd still love to hear about your opinions and/or experiences with the place!
Thank you in advance!

IIRC there may be some water issues in parts of Woodmoor, but not sure how that is shaking out so far. Their HOA bought some expensive ranch land on the far south of COLO SPGS to get water rights and at the time I read the story they needed to build a pipeline all the way to the far north end of the county. It could make water very expensive in the future, but a realtor should have the info on that. There is a thread on it somewhere in the forum, use the search tool with keywords: Woodmoor water
