My family will be relocating for a job in Colorado Springs in the next few months from Columbia S.C. (THANK GOD!) We just came back from CO last week after we were able to make sure that it wouldn't be a step down from where we are now (which would be hard, especially because there have been zero job offers here). Any advice on short term rent places in the North West or West area of Colordao Springs would be super helpful. We have two small children, a 50lb dog and small cat, so finding a place that accepts our pets has been difficult (the dog is not considered a violent breed and neither animal has ever been destructive). We would even be willing to sign a longer lease if the place was right. We just don't want to sign a long lease and then find out the place is a dump or in a bad area. Our budget is around $1500 a month until we can get our house sold in Columbia. I really really appreciate any advice. Thank you!!!!

Find rentals on the local MLS site, ppar.com or try padmapper.com

If it's a craigslist listing, read and heed the warnings.

Northwest side is good, like Rockrimmon area, up along Centennial, etc.
