I do. Love, love, love it. And yes, I do work in my jammy pants. I don't sleep in my flannels but I wear them all the time from about late September through to about early April.

Just a warning I was looking at this post, then I saw the "dont fall for the data entry scams, find real work at home jobs here" etc and The after researching it for people that have done them, they were also data scams...so don't buy any with out typing in the website and the word scam in google. See if anyone else had been scammed by that particular website.

I am wondering what the best possible way to find an at home business/job that is NOT a scam? Maybe a local company that hires for data entry or customer service or whatever can be done from home? I currently work as an Administrative Assistant and am looking to do something at home in order to be with my kids more. Any help regarding how to go about this would be GREAT!!

Default It's here, you just have to find it.

I've a lawyer buddy, works for Lexis/Nexis, big office up along Voyager Pkwy, facing I-25. Many of their people work from home, in this area, where they review cases and sort cases on keywords or legal criteria, etc. As many as a couple hundred of them.

Lots of call centers here in COL SPGS, more coming. Like Barclays for credit card processing. Others are here but declilne to I-D the clients they serve. Not sure if these are done from in the home or not. Sure could be. Same for FEDEX, who have a big IT operation going in up on Voyager at North Gate Rd, seems a lot of their "tracking" people could work on-line from home.

I know when I worked for the Army back in DC, they put software (Citrix?) on my PC at home so I could log-in from home and they knew it was me. That was not classified work, but it was done within https and authenication software so that I could login to Army systems that were not available to the general public, i.e., the Army intranet, including AKO and my HQDA email.

s/Mike

I work from home full time. I am a full time trader. My commute is from floor 3 to floor 1 with a stop at floor 2 for coffee.

I just love it! Beats the heck out of working for the man!

What do you do that allows you to work at home?

Web design. It's really slow right now but with the housing slump, it's actually picking up again because the builders and real estate agents need to get their properties out there. Property inventory is never a good thing.

I've worked in the construction industry my entire adult life so it's a natural fit.

I worked from home in Colorado Springs for the year I lived there and I was surprised to find that I hated it. I felt so isolated. I was on the telephone all day but I missed the face-to-face contact with colleagues and clients. I prefer a mix of working-from-home and working in an office.

speak for yourself. i'd love to not have to get up at 4am everyday, and since i'm kinda anti-social, it'd be a perfect fit.
