Looks like you got some snow last night. How much did you get? I'd love to see any pictures you have of your area. Would this be considered a small storm? Suppose to melt of during the day?

This is your run of the mill storm. 3-6" of snow, but it's the wet stuff so it's heavier than hell. I'm in Denver so I'll save the pics for folks like otowi and MFBE who live in the Springs.

It won't melt today, but it'll be mostly gone by the weekend.

It hardly qualifies as "snow" in my neighborhood -- just a dusting on the planting beds and mulched areas, nothing on the driveway or patio. It'll be gone as soon as the sun hits it.

We did get some wind during the night that blew a lot of leaves around. I'd already picked up a bunch over the past few days and now there's a fresh batch. :-P

We got about 3 or 4 inches up on the Palmer Divide, but it has been blowing a lot.

Ok I'll post a pic since the Springs didn't get much. We're in far Southeast Aurora at 6200' on the northern vestiges of the Palmer Divide. We got between 3 & 4". There's wind scouring the snow here, too.

I am in Meridian Ranch and we got about an inch but the wind is sure blowing. The geese are not real happy but the roads are not that bad.

Thanks everyone. I hope colorado has better drivers than New Mexico does in winter. If even an inch falls here people drive crazy and lots of roads get shut down for accidents that didn't need to happen.

Looking forward to adding our colorado pictures in a few months. Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you all until we are up there.

Do the school districts delay the entire district if there is issues or do they ever delay one or two schools if it's bad in a specific area. We are looking at being in the far north end of D20 and I heard there was not delay today but some of our friends up there said they wished for a delay because they were on the north end.

Two inches at Pine Creek High School, wind still howling, no snow falling, sun peeking through at times.

Not much to take a picture of in my neck of the woods. A few flakes in the air, a few icy or wet spots on the road. The wind would be worth a picture, though.
