Keep the hot chocolate ready for when hubs finishes his first round on snow-blowing, the wind is fierce. Looks like snowmageddon here too, but in a few days it will be sunny and warm.

The radar is indicting that this storm might be over for (most of) Colorado Springs, except for maybe a few flurries and/or light snow later. In fact, it's mostly been over for the last few hours. I guess those reports that said it would last for days were greatly exaggerated. At the most, it lasted for 8 hours (it started snowing sometime after 3am last night, and ended around 12pm today).

Down in Security/Widefield/Fountain it has been plenty blizzardy mainly due to the wind. Bands of wet snow have passed through, but it is too warm here for significant accumulation - a few drifts amounting to a few inches otherwise maybe a very wet inch on the grass. Roads just wet and slushy mostly.

Yeah, the Palmer Divide always gets much more than we do here in Springs (especially in my part of town). The wind here is strong still, but I think the chance for any more significant accumulation is over.

Still going pretty steady at the top of Colorado Springs as well just off of baptist road. Wind and snow. We are at 11 inches.

Amazing how 15 minutes apart can make such a big difference. We have maybe 3-4 inches of snow here in North Springs, and 95% of that was overnight. It is lightly snowing right now, but not enough to add any noticeable accumulation.

The storm further developed here as well (I am surprised). We haven't gotten heavy snow like the rest of you, but we got maybe another inch since my last post.
