I am a single male in Atlanta, GA and a few years ago I went to Colorado Springs on vacation and I have been dreaming since on moving there. I currently have two jobs, one full and one part time and both of my jobs have locations in Colorado Springs. I have my mind set on moving out there next year, can you tell me what zip codes I should be looking for a safe place to live. I know the crime in Colorado Springs is not like the crime in Atlanta, but it will be nice to come home each day and don't worry big city problems like I do now.

80906 is pretty nice. What is your housing budget?

There is no zip code that I'd avoid in its entirety. I'd suggest you look at some crime stats and get a feel for your personal comfort zone. The CSPD has some neighborhood-level crime info - https://cspd.coloradosprings.gov/con...r-neighborhood I think they have a blotter, as well. The county also has a blotter you can track for awhile to get a feel - https://www.epcsheriffsoffice.com/blotter

Agreed after heaving traveled to Philadelphia extensively I can safely say no part of the Springs is a no go zone.

80918, the cottonwood creek park area. There's a nice mix of housing and ample outdoor activities close by

I agree with everyone.... probably anywhere that fits your budget. If given the chance, I'd opt to be close to work too.

Do you know where your work locations will be? Budget? Do you want/need to be close to anything in particular

Thank you everyone, I work for Lowes and Kroger, or King Soopers out there. I know it is wishful thinking but I am hoping for no more then $1000 a month. I pay $750 now but both jobs have told me I should get more money if I move out there because of cost of living.

There's a Lowe's and a King Soopers very close to each other in my old zip code of 80920. I went to both many times.

Look at the corner of Union Blvd and Briargate Pkwy (note: do not confuse with Briargate Blvd). There are brand new apartments two blocks from King Soopers right at Powers Blvd. Could work out great for you.

This is a good site to check out rentals, and you can search by zip codes:
