I am trying to get a feel for the physical therapy job market in Colorado Springs. I have over 20 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings and I'm putting out feelers for the area for a potential move in the Fall of 2019. I see that there are several hospitals but are the other PT facilities privately owned or are they extensions of the hospitals? Does there tend to a high turnover rate with PTs in town?

Thanks in advance!

Fyzical has locations here, but don’t know about turnover.

There are probably several dozens of physical therapy providers in the area, not to include those associated with the big hospital systems which are their own deal. With the US Olympic Headquarters here, we also have dozens of governing bodies in addition to the Training Center. The outdoor centric and active population in addition to a large number of retirees, means there is always a demand for good PTs and there a numerous way to be employed with those skills.
