Does all of Colorado Springs have a high property crime problem/rate?

Or is it violent crime?

Which zip codes are the safest areas as far as crime in the 300-330,000 price range? We are hoping to find a 3 bed 2 bath 2 car garage with basement. Prefer a home no more then 20 years old.

We have two teenagers.

Thank you

There are crime maps you can search online. Any place that has that price range is going to be pretty good.

No there are way more areas that are very low crime than high crime areas. Certain property crime can happen anywhere, there are spikes of car break ins and porch pirates from time to time. A lot of that can be mitigated by using common sense, lock your car doors and don’t leave valuables in it.

So true. Car in the garage would cut crime significantly.
