I have a question for anyone who's willing to answer.

My DH and I are in the process of adopting a baby from China. What size is the IA community, especially for Chinese kids in CO? When you walk down any given street, what ethnic groups or other races besides white do you see?

Our adoption agency is in Colorado, so I know we'll have support from other adoptees and a-parents, but I just question what my daughter is going to see day-to-day.

Thanks for any input!

Depends on the area. CS has lots of military, so it is more diverse than many other parts of CO. The bigger cities have more minorities. You will find a lot less in suburbia.

Bashep,
Tell your SIL congratulations on both the long journey of waiting, as well as the trip to China. It's so nice to hear good news come from the Chinese adoption community!
Best wishes to the babies and their new families.
