I believe Cripple Creek. A nice drive from COS. I think it took us 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Yup. There are three CO towns that can have casinos: Cripple Creek, Black Hawk, and Central City. Cripple Creek is an hour and a few minutes from the Springs. The other two are more like two hours away. It's low-stakes gambling. Slot machines, poker, and $5 Blackjack. There will be a ballot initiative next November to raise the allowable stakes to $100 and allow craps and roulette.

There are bus runs between the Springs and Cripple Creek, so you don't need to drive unless you want to.

Google the name of the bus company, Rambling Express.

Default Craps

Is craps in COS like Vegas craps where you actually get to roll dice or is it like California craps where the dealer uses cards and you don't roll dice?

Vegas-style craps. Pretty limited in Cripple Creek, in that the casinos are very small, and many haven't brought in craps tables, but it's there. Limits are now $100, too, as opposed to the $5 limit that had been in place since the casinos opened.
