Hi we are going to be moving to the Springs shortly. We have some houses that we are interested in buying and don't want to commit to a long term apartment rental. Are there any month to month apartment leases that anyone knows of in a fairly safe neighborhood? The apartment doesn't need to be anything fancy, a one-bedroom would be fine. Location wise, anywhere would be fine, as long as it is in a safe area. We have checked out some apartments, but all we can find are 3-month leases. Thanks for your help!

Check out the "temporary/sublets" section on craigslists for CO springs. There are often folks that are willing to rent out a furnished basement or duplex type apartment on short term. I think you'll find something there.

I had trouble finding monthly rentals when I was planning a move. You might ask around about apartment chains, such a Warren Properties, because chains usually allow monthly rentals or weekly rentals. Just be sure to do a check at apartment ratings because a lot of monthly rentals are pretty fishy due to the quality of people living there. By the way, Warren properties has no locations in CO. You might just want to google extended stay in Co Springs. Good luck!!
