Dream 1: Imagine a world-class university
Dream 2: Nurture an eco-city and eco-tourism
Dream 3: Build a bullet-train system
Dream 4: Increase council pay

Yes, it would be a good thing if it happens.

It would be kewl if UCCS got a football team, that would make for a nice rivalry between UCCS and CSU-Pueblo!

Well, that is not entirely true. CU owns some land in S. Boulder that they have been threatening to build on for years. There is a lot of community opposition to it. I'd guess it'll be later than 2020 (which is only 11 years from now) until UCCS outgrows Boulder. How big is UCCS now?

I am 90% sure its under 10,000 students and CSU-Pueblo is growing faster so I dont see how they could reach 30,000 by 2020?

To answer my own question:

From the 2005 USNews College Guide:

4545 full time; 1504 part time.

UCCS | About

UCCS undergraduates are, on average, 24 years old; graduate students are 36 years old.

It will be more than 11 years before UCCS is bigger than CU-Boulder.

Thank you, I could not find them lol. And I think you are right, to be honost that kind of growth would not be good for any university.

Bullet train from CS airport to Denver airport with a stop just East of downtown Denver might work if an airline ran it and cut out their air traffic between CS and Denver. They would be able to supplant their airport to airport connection leg with additional traffic between the cities and also allow people to go from Denver to the airport easily.
