Are there good churches in the springs?

We are Christian and prefer more of a non-denominational but are open to friendly people as we will not have any family there.

I am also wondering if there are any Young Life groups? I have a 16 yo and 12 yo (B/G) my 12 yr old daughter is an avid horse rider, she rides english and wants to keep up with her lessons and shows.

If anyone has a "rider" they know what i'm talking about dd wants to keep up in the show circuit.

Thanks

I think Young Life has their headquarters here in the Springs so it seems like they would have to have a lot of local groups I would think. Perhaps the Young Life website would have some info.

As far as horseback riding, there are a lot of opportunities here. I doubt she would have a problem finding what she wants here.

Yes, the Young Life organization has it's HQ here in COLO SPGS. My wife's niece back in VA is a member and has been to the Caribbean twice to do community works there.

Colorado is a horse lovers paradise. Kettle Creek Ranch boards a lot of horses and gives all sorts of lessons, but does not rent horses. For horse rentals, Academy Stables down near Garden of the Gods park takes people on trail rides of various lengths in GOTG park.

Does a bear...ummmm...take communion in the woods??

If Colo Springs takes undeserved heat for anything more than the number and active nature of its churches, I don't know what it is.
