I am from Minnesota and am considering moving to Colorado. I would prefer to move to Colorado Springs over Denver. I guess I am just looking for information on the area, cost of living, where to find a good job, what people there are like, what is there to do etc. I would prefer to find a job as a military civilian and since I will probably be moving by myself I need to find a decent apartment complex to live in thats cheap, allows pets and includes some utilities or even how to find roomates. I am 23 and since I won't know anybody there, whats also the best way to meet new people and places to go?? any input would be great!! thanks!!

A lot of the answers you seek can be found by using the search function. I would recommend you have a job lined up before you move as good jobs, like civil service, are very attractive in this economy and are likewise very difficult to get without inside connections. If you haven't already, you might want to at least visit the area to determine if you actually like it or not
