My husband's company just moved us to Colorado (we are in Eugene, Oregon right now, before that Bay Area, CA). He will be working in Commerce City but I know that I don't want to move East. We are used to a communte but don't want to go back to anything horrible. We will pick the city based on getting our kids in Catholic school (3rd and 1st next year). Looking at 500k range for a home. Any suggestions?

Have you found anything yet? We just found out we are moving from SLC. The two schools I have my eyes on at the moment are Sts Peter and Paul and St. Catherine of Siena.

I'm from Denver and attended Christian School from K-9th grade, but was baptised and had my first communion at St. Thomas Moore in Centennial. Although I didn't attend their school because it wasn't built until the mid-90's or so, it seems like an incredible Catholic School and as someone who expects to move back to Denver in the near future, it is a school I would highly consider sending my kids were I to choose private school for them. Here's their website:

Saint Thomas More Catholic School:: A Private Parochial School in Colorado

Others that have a great reputation in Denver are St. Marys (co-ed elementary and middle school; high school is all-girl) St. Mary's Academy | Denver's Premier Independent Catholic School - Private College Prep High School for Girls :: Cherry Hills Village, CO and, of course, Regis (high school all-boy.. or at least it was?) Home

Good Luck!
