Wow Joss, the intro/outro music/graphics was awesome.
Okay, so yesterday, Thursday, Dec 1, I had to go to Raton to retrieve my wife and kids who were returning from CA via Amtrak. Yes, going to Raton did make the most sense.
When I left Denver around 1430, the snow was about done, and starting to melt off the roads. I called it 4.5 inches. It lightly snowed down to about the divide.
The Springs didn't have any snow. Pueblo didn't have any accumulation (except for some weird windswept tiny round piles). The far south end of Pueblo had about an inch of accumulation.
Then, it got worse. There was decent accumulation and snowfall all the way down to Raton Pass. It was on the roads. There were cars and pickup trucks laying on their roofs. Tractor trailers were swaying on the icy roads. It was scary stuff. There was nobody out there, the visibility was terrible, the snow was heavy, slippery, and it wasn't any fun (especially near Walsenburg and going up Raton Pass out of Trinidad).
Raton only had flurries, and no accumulation, but it was cold. The drive back to Denver wasn't as bad as the drive down, but it still kinda sucked. I'm glad it's over.

Thanks, and yeah, I was thinking if I ever lived there, that I'd choose the south side (or south of town).

We have 9.5" fresh up here. Still snowing lightly but seems to be tapering off.
Add that to what was left of the 13" from Thursday and it looks like a winter wonderland

We have 10.5" now... I cheated and took this through the window
My husband is about to wind up the snowblower. There's 20" on the ground in some places (that's combined with the snow we got on Thursday).

As for the
Pueblo weather news, nice as well to have a lovely outdoor panorama in the park with the trees and (
more or less ) snow covered grass.
To get that full weather person effect, if desired, aside from graphics, one could do some editing and at times in front of the camera, with it on a tripod. At Weather.com they always like to send their weather person out in the midst of a storm for dramatic effect. So maybe get a fan to blow a blizzard across the 'reporter,' and hold onto something tight, as if about blown away.
It will vary, but the region of
Estes Park seemingly without as much snow as Nederland, as the mountains to the west caught it.
