that's funny too. So aren't you in monument, how was it this summer there. Had to be better than my last one here in LA.

About five miles east of Monument.

Second summer here. No air conditioning needed. Windows are open all the time in summer. Only one day this summer and only one day last summer the temp in the house got to 86 degrees F, never higher than 89 outside but these were "heat waves" - normal summer outdoor temps are in the high 70s, low 80s. Since it was breezy and dry it was not uncomfortable at all. We live at 7300 feet altitude. Some summer days have afternoon thunderstorms which can literally drop the temp from 80 to 55 in a half an hour. Very fun (though the lightening conks out my wireless router sometimes...???)
