hey guys i went to 11 mile to fish for some trout and had no luck :/

people were saying for sure i would catch trout there, but....denied! Anyhow, I was wondering how to fish trout since I have no experience with trout. Should I use flies? People were saying I can even use spinners on a regular reel.

Alo, I drove in 2 miles from the river, should I have went in more?

Well it's called fishing, not catching. Anyway, when I trout fish anyplace I either use a fly rod or if that doesn't work, a regular rod and reel with Power Bait. Check with a local bait shop and good luck.

Jim, that's a good1... fishing, not catching, so true.

Yeah, I'd agree with the fly rod. I'd suggest going on a guided tour or two where you catch and release. Should learn a lot about Colorado trout fishing that way.

thanks all! Ha ha! yeah you are definitely right! its fishing not catching What i really meant to say, I have no experience on fishing trout, so I am not even sure when to go fishing, what time, what flies, what reels, etc.

I am an experienced bass fisher, but trout is a whole new game
