Hello all,

I am living in Breckenridge and I don’t have access to a garage, and I do all my own work on my vehicles. I am looking for someone to help me out and let me use their garage for a day or two so I can get some work done on my 2000 Isuzu Trooper to prep it for summer trails! I have a complete tool set, but if you have a grease gun, a jack and jack stands that would be awesome. I’m planning on replacing my upper ball joints, UCA bushings, cranking up my torsion bars some more and also new HD tie rods.

Let me know if you are willing to help me out! Pizza and Beer is on me or I could help you out and do some basic maintenance/repairs on your vehicle. I am willing to drive to Denver or the Springs.

A bit about me- 24 year old male working at the ski resort up here as a supervisor, I moved from Michigan almost a year ago and I enjoy camping and Travelling. Thanks!!

Only “a day or two”?

Take it to the local craigslist, regardless.

The DIY sounds pretty good but at $40 an hour that would get pricey quick. And in regards to 1-2 days I’m not looking to crash at your house, I have friends in Denver I can stay with but they also don’t have access to any garage or work space. Anyone out there for me? Thanks for the offer, Willamette City

In an ideal world someone might say yes. But the advice to put it on Craigslist or something else is probably good advice. If you offered $40-50 bucks you might have a better chance of a bite. There is some risk that you break something, take longer than expected, hurt yourself, etc.

Your buddies might not know somebody off-hand but would they put up a flyer at work? A local reference who can vouch for you could make the difference.

If you are a good talker you might try talking to a guy at an auto part store (and plan to buy something there). Or email an off-road club.
