Wonder if anyone has switched to Xfinity Mobile cell service, and if so, how it compares to what you had before?

I'm curious as well. A friend recently raved about it - I'd like a few more opinions. Apparently they use Verizon cell towers so coverage should be good. We currently have Verizon; it is pricey but the only service that provides good coverage in Wyoming which we need.

I haven't used it - I heard about it from one of their customer service reps when they first rolled it out. I don't know if it's still the case, but at that time you could not transfer your already existing phone number to their service, and you had to get the phone from them - those two conditions made me not look into it any further.

You CAN transfer your number. As of now, it works with iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones only.

I like it. I think you need to to Xfinity service to get the mobile. transfering account from TMobile was easy. Unlimited text and calls. I get some data .1 something. But I dont use much data unless we are traveling. I use wifi where availabe. I pay 2 or 3 dollars a month. Except when I used their data without noticing and socked for 15.00 that month.

I have it and I love it! It uses Verizon's networks plus Xfinity hotspots. It is super cheap - I only pay about $15 a month for my service which includes unlimited text and calls and all the data I've ever needed. I was able to keep my number. You do need to have Internet with Xfinity, I believe.
