I am a Colorado Native. I love cooler temps and snow. I am really hating these 60-70 degree temps. It's the holidays and I feel like I am living in Texas right now.

I skied today. Started off in the 20s. Got up to low 40s. Go to the mountains for a cool-down.

We have a forecasted high of 52 for Thursday, December 2. High 40s before and after that. With a record high of 56 for the month, it's not disgustingly warm, but it feels like we just had two Octobers. Spring and fall are getting longer, encroaching into winter on both ends.

This year is particularly bad. We're breaking records for latest first snow in Denver and Colorado Springs this year for sure. La Nina has a part in the story.

In Denver we have a forecasted high of 72 for Thursday. This is crazy.

New realities always seem crazy, until they're just how it is and people start rolling their eyes at people who say it's crazy.

When I first moved to Denver in 1994, I remember biking in shorts in January. I also remember the blizzard in October of ‘97 that dumped a couple feet. It’s Colorado.

Why do a lot of people roll their eyes at you?
