Here's a simple explanation from Colorado Public Radio:
Quote:
. . .new tallies will likely have to wait until Wednesday, [November 16] the deadline for counties to receive ballots from military and overseas voters.

The next round of updated votes won’t just include those ballots, though — each county has kept some uncounted ballots in reserve to mix with whatever it receives through Wednesday in order to keep those results as anonymous as possible.
. . .

Wednesday is also the deadline for voters whose ballots were uncountable, primarily because their signature was missing or rejected . . . known in the election world as curing. . .Other problems may include an issue with the identification the voter has on file with the state. . .

I read somewhere this morning that Boebert is the winner now. Mathematically impossible now for her to lose?

I voted against the alcohol-related measures although my reason isn’t very sound. In a time when small businesses are in a crunch, the economy isn’t in good shape, and many liquor stores are located near grocery stores BECAUSE OF existing law, I felt like now is not a good time to change it.

In terms of alcohol delivery, I don’t really care. Neither of these issues were very important to me.

The math hasn't changed for days now. Nov. 16 is the deadline for outstanding ballots.

Share the source if you can find it. I don't see anyone saying that just yet.

No, not a source for Boebert or Frisch's "win." Current state of the election.

I thought it was CNN. Which is why I figured it was true, since I know it would make them crazy (and they wouldn't admit it until they had to).

Woudn't be the first time I've caught something on CNN that snuck by the editors early on.

Frisch just conceded to Boebert. Lost by a mere 551 votes. Source, NYT and his campagin sent out a very elegant speech to supporters. Class act.

Boebert has to stop acting like an idiot and do her damn job, or she'll face a much more formidable foe two years from now.
