I know it's probably a bit of a long shot, but does anyone have any pictures of Grover or any information about it. I know it's tiny and rural, but is it clean and well kept? A few months ago, we did some house hunting in northeast Colorado and some of the little towns looked like run down ghost towns!

Anything anyone has would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!

There's BFE, and then there's Grover. Tiny, run-down, and in the middle of nowhere. Gravel roads in and out in all directions. 50 miles to Greeley.

Someone from Google Maps actually drove out there, and they have street view for some of the area.

There are probably more nuke silos & cows in a 20 mile radius of Grover & Keota than there are people.

The gravel roads, cows, and missle silos don't bother me but when you say run down, what do you mean? Does everybody's yard have a car up on blocks and the paint peeling off their houses? Are the business boarded up on Main Street (if there is one?)? Some small towns are definately better than others and I'm hoping this is one of the better ones!

Have you ever looked at Google Maps (or Google Earth) street view? You can get a quasi-recent street-level lay of the land. There isn't much to Grover, but they do have a street view. Here's a URL.

I put it on the edge of town to be unbiased and let you move in and see for yourself. Who knows. It could be your slice of heaven.

Hello, I have never been to Grover but a good friend of mine lives in the area. I may find the time to visit some day. He tells me he has snakes living under his house. He is a real American cowboy so is not real rich but he takes care of his parents. Not many people would do that. Grover looks like many other very small towns I have read about. I am sure the people there are the real Americans a lot of us wish we had the time to be. Ray
