Does anyone know what the "Historic Event" coming to the CLA is?

Well, an article on The State newspaper's website said a picture of Paul McCartney was somewhere but got taken down. I thought if it's not Madonna who cares? Someone in another thread said it might be a Hootie and the Blowfish reunion concert. With Nikki Haley and Ray Tanner present, that makes sense, especially since Darius Rucker recently told an interviewer (can't remember who) that he was planning to reunite with the Blowfish and do some music. I'll bet that's it. I guess it warrants the word "historic" since Hootie and the Blowfish as a group has been history for some time.

Where did you hear about this?

I just checked The State and it said Paul McCartney had added Columbia to his tour.

If it's Madonna, I'm there. I've always wanted to see Madonna in concert.

If it's Paul McCartney, why are they using the word "historic?" Actually, that word seems strange for any kind of concert except for a lot of artists coming together or something like that.

Saw a headline that Hootie is reuniting on Letterman. I think this answers the question about the "historic" announcement tomorrow.

I wonder if Philadelphia and Charlottesville held news conferences with their governors present. What makes it "historic" and am I missing something or is a Paul McCartney concert not something to get that excited about? Is his latest song on the radio? And if it is, is it because he's a 70-year-old man and not a 56-year-old woman?
