Anyone have any recommendations on which places to go to for white water rafting, zip lining or sky diving? Open to any other suggestions as well. This adrenaline junkie family will be moving there in two weeks and I'd love to know what the locals suggest!

Thanks!!

Well there is a white water rafting place in Charlotte but I can't remember the name but I believe it's the only one there so if you Google it you should find it easily. Otherwise the closest I know for everything you mentioned is the Gatlinburg area of Tn. There may be some closer but I just don't know. There isn't much for an adrenaline junkie to me in Columbia.

I believe there is a new zipline place that just opened in the mouintains near the upstate; try the Greenville forum for that info as there was a recent thread on it. Note just a couple hour +/- drive from Columbia to get into the mts for something like that

Not sure you are going to find any ziplines in the immediate Columbia area. You will find zipline adventures about an hour / hour and a half northwest though. A couple of links:
