As I see this and I know that all talk has been focused on the SC site for Boeing being in N Charleston, other states have multiple locations within their state that they are lobbying Boeing with, why are we not doing that here? Of course we dont want to compete with ourselves, but at the same time, there may be incentives places like Lexington County can offer with tax breaks that Charleston may not be able to and could be a way to keep this plant from going to Alabama or NC.
Im not sure, this may be going on already, but with the lower cost of living here, access to a sizable airport and not too far from their other operations in Charleston, I think we would be stupid not explore this coming to Columbia, not only for our area, but to give Boeing additional options in South Carolina.
