Guys to be perfectly honest, in the order of sports leagues very few care about D-League basketball ranks well out of the top thirty somewhere near Professional Bull Riding and pro Timbersports Really, nothing to be excited about.

People in this thread already said CL and Coliseum wont be able to take them because itll interfere with USC basketball and volleyball. Bilo Center didnt have that handicap.

Only reason Bilo Center currently has Clemson basketball is because Littlejohn is undergoing renovations, that wont take too long. Greenvilles D-League team was around in like, 2002...to 2003.

Your name is "ColaClemsonFan", yet you thought Clemson played basketball at the Bilo Center...in Greenville?

No im well aware of Clemson's arrangement I believe you just misunderstood me...this upcoming year the BiLo Center will have to work out a plan to have a minor league hockey team and a men's and women's collegiate basketball team playing in the same arena, even for just one season, it is feasible to have a minor league team and two college basketball teams playing in the same arena and that feasibility would be no different at Colonial Life.

The Clemson Women are going to play at Fike Gym - they only draw about 700 a game.

THIS. The Greenville Groove was nothing but a snooze fest. Columbia should go after another ECHL hockey team instead in my opinion.

The NBA does not want D-league teams to be in large stadiums like PNC Area, Colonial Life Area or even the Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

Look at the video in the Story from the Des Moines team who play in a 15,000 seat arena.
Logue: Energy fracas sheds light on team's uphill battle

Most D-League teams are lucky to average 4,000 or so fans per game. The NBA wants a venue that will fill up.
