LOVE all the old signage! What became of that original classic McDonalds? Long torn down I'm sure. It would probably be on the Historic Register if still standing today!

Macon Road today.

The traffic lights on Macon is horrible.

This actually seems a little older than 1984 to me... look at the cars, all pre-1980s best I can tell.

The old McDonalds shown here was demolished around 1985 or so, I know the new one was up by 1986 at least, possibly earlier.

No, that original McDonalds was demolished, look on the photograph, that building is almost right on Lindsey Creek, where the parking lot is now.
