Glad to cross this website. I have been here for almost a year staying at exit 12 and love the area. Now i'm looking for a house to buy because my lease will end soon in next month. However, even i'm here almost a year but still not feel comfortable for choosing a place to purchase a house. Hope I can get advise here. I'm working at Ft Benning and looking for somewhere closer to the base but people advise to stay above exit 6. After searching, i see the area of Bunker Hill exit 3 East of St Mary's has new house with affordable price, and the subdivision Eagle Pointe. Are those safe neighborhoods? Anyone know or live around those 2 areas please advise. I know you may say crime is everywhere but at least you can feel safe. Thanks for all help.

You will be fine in Columbus. City offers a lot and is much safer than most areas of Atlanta. Where in Columbus have you looked?
