City population as of 2012 was 198,413. Columbus regained its status as Georgia's 2nd largest city. Columbus is consolidated with Muscogee County.

No. Muscogee County population was 186,000 in 2000. The city of Columbus population was 169,000.

Bibb City was the only city left besides Columbus in Muscogee County and they became apart of us in 2000 or around that time so technically Columbus is Muscogee County and vice versa now so basically when you bring up Muscogee County you mean the city it's self for the most part. Unless you count the outskirts which are still considered by most to be the city, but now the city its self is 194,000 as of 2011 if I'm not mistaken.
