Make sure to research for yourself. Take everything you are told with a grain of salt.

I definitely agree with that statement.

No worries, I'm definitely researching, but since I found this forum, thought I would put some questions out to the locals.

My husband works for a division of AFLAC (has worked for them for about 20 years). Started out in the Atlanta office. For the past 5 years or so his responsibilities have changed and all the folks who report to him are in Columbus, so he has been working Monday - Thursday down there, while I hold down the fort here. The time has come for us to go ahead and move down there so we can be together.

Thanks! I was initially kicking and screaming (not literally, but you get the picture) in not wanting to move. But now I admit I'm getting a little excited. The down side to all this is that my elderly parents (Dad is 90, Mom is 88) will need to move with us. I can't take care of them from 3.5 hours away. My Dad is almost literally kicking and screaming because he doesn't want to move but my Mom sees that it's necessary. It will really be a huge change for them, as they have lived in this general area (north of ATL) their entire lives.

Anyway, I've gotten completely away from what this post was about, but I appreciate all your input, Columbus 1984!
