I remember taking a ride on this before Columbus took it away. Anyone remember the bar too?

I do. How cool would it be if they brought it back. If The Brickyard happens, that would be cool to have a boat like that shuffling people back and forth.

Noticed some on The Brickyard website that a steamer might be in the works. That would be really cool.

I agree. If The Brickyard does come to fruition it would be awesome having that as way to get back and forth between there and downtown Columbus.

Agreed... this would be a fantastic addition, and a true revitalization of local Columbus history, as riverboats used to regularly run from here and the Gulf and back, shipping cotton and other goods to places such as Liverpool England.

With the blocks in the river that isn't possible now, but runs locally could and should be a part of our lives.
