Sounds like lots of ifs.
Same for Natatorium( a fancy name for indoor swimming pool),Riverwalk,Columbus Civic Center,External Skating Rink,Infantry Museum,Whitewater etc etc.
Lots of ifs but no result as of yet.
CORTA is about as non profit as Walmart and Goodwill.
I would only hope they would be footing more of the bill than the city and CSU as the city is already drained for budget as it is so almost 2 million dollars is a slap in the face for city workers having constant cutbacks on city healthcare etc.
Totally lopsided but no surprise with city departments lawsuits against each other at taxpayers expense as well.
We should all be so lucky to have them running the ship.....rofl.

Ask the city about the half million dollar playground behind our public library that according to library workers gets little to no usage(maybe the area might have a bit to do with that I guess) when you have time.
Great idea but obviously the wrong place(Cooper Creek certainly would have made more sense.)
But ony if....

Proof?
How long have the existing courts been at Cooper Creek with little to no major and consistent tournaments and usage?
Yes, a LONG time.
I know you have got to have more sense than that if you even live in the city.
The city has NO business subsidizing anything leisure at this time with upcoming Benning shrinkage and tax digest losses.
Heed the warnings folks a very bad economic storm is coming to this area that will make the recession look like a garden party and will either bankrupt the city or make it an intolerable place to live.
