The city is looking into taking over the Liberty Theater. The theater will received a full renovation and will later be expanded for meeting space. The plan is to have smaller acts with smaller crowds to perform there instead of the civic center.

Hopefully this moves forward, good for revitalization of that area.

That whole area has great potential, and would already been further along. were it not for a few folks in that area not wanting positive change a few years ago. They know who they are!
