I am researching potential high school teaching positions in Ohio (Spanish and mathematics).

What is a good resource for comparing Ohio high school data? Specifically, I am looking for growth rates, funding sources, rankings, number of students that go on and attend college, etc.

Thanks.

You might check each district's website, I'm sure they would have that data. As for comparing, I'm sure it's on some state website buried somewhere, but have no idea where....good luck!

ODE: iLRC Schools Home

This is the state's site for test score and performance data on both districts and their individual schools. This link happens to bring you to the schools portion of the data.

Might help you to know that a lot of districts are getting ready to lay-off teachers as levies are failing...Also, many teachers in Ohio stay for years and do not retire until told too...We just moved back 3 years ago and I graduated 25 years ago and many are still there...That is why we are leaving as neither of us can find work and we are going back to Nevada
