Hi, I am wondering if anyone else has heard that in the future, (10 or so years) Coffman might close and everyone on that side of Dublin would go to Jerome? I was touring with a realtor who said they build Jerome as a "modular" school with the intent of maybe closing Coffman... Has anyone else heard this? Thanks

Coffman - 1,871
Jerome - 1,232
Scioto - 1,253

in 10 years?? only if there is a drop in enrollment. I don't forsee Dublin's economics changing any time even in the next 10 years nor it's enrollment. one of my best friends growing up, his dad took the principal job at jerome when it opened. his comment to me was that dublin city likes to operate its high schools at 1,200 or more kids. you'd have to see a tremendous drop in enrollment to see a high school closed in that district....at least based on that info.

on top of it Coffman was the original Dublin High. I also don't think closing a brick and mortar school in favor of a modular school is very wise.
