Hi, everyone!

I accepted the chalkange and finally moved to Columbus from Brazil. I have already rented a house and I am in love with the City, but I wish I coul get some help with two issues:

1- besides Aaron's and Cort is there any other business that rent furniture? Which one is the best? I think Cort is too expensive, but I am mot sure about Aaron's' quality.

2- are there indications of used car retails?

3- how can a experienced driver take Ohio's driver license? The same pathway for first-time drivers? Do I have to take a provisory permission first?

Thank you all for helping!

Can I ask why you would be interested in renting furniture instead of just buying? From what I understand, you'll save more money buying something used off craigslist or some other site than renting it long term.

As far as use car retail values, try www.kbb.com

This site will help with your questions about getting an license: ODPS | BMV | Ohio Driver License Information

I agree, renting furniture will run you much more money than buying some nice used furniture.

Thank you, jbcmh81!

I thought of renting because for a while I'll be here for limited time of 2 years. I really hope to turn definitive, but not for now. But I'll take a look on craiglist!

Thanks for the other sites too! I'll browse them and come back to a feedback

It may be easier to rent a furnished or semi-furnished home than to rent furniture. You might want to see if there is anywhere you would like to rent on Sabbatical Homes because they are usually furnished. You may also try buying used furniture which would be much cheaper than renting. You may have to rent a truck to pick up the furniture, but then you could also sell it when you move away. Auction Ohio has some very good deals if you are not particular about furniture styles. Most neighborhoods also have facebook groups where people sell used furniture very cheaply.

Hi, everyone!

I tried craiglist, but this is not a very friendly environment to browse. But thanks for the indication!

Supergrrl7, I will look for the FB groups! I have alteady rented the house. I was very demanding for location, so I didn't have a lot of options to try furnished houses.

Anyway, this isbeing a great time and I was already approved for driver's license! Columbus is being much better than I could ever imagine! Congrats for your beautiful and friendly city!

Hi, everyone!

Jbcmh81, thanks again for the indication of kbb. I have found my car in one of the retail stores in the site! They are making little repairs in the car and I will take it next week.

Great tip!

For the furniture, I am still looking for, but I have anew question:
- is there any business in Columbus I can hire for picking furniture in Walmart? They don't have delivery service! The car I bought is large, but the problem is to carry those heavy boxes home by myself!

I appreciate if I can get new answers.

Have you thought about joining a church? The church member may be able to give you a helping hand and sometime they may even provide you with donated furniture. Just a thought! Good luck to you!
