Hello, Balozi. I don't know about recording studios, but there is a gentleman who works for the public library and he's a producer. His name is Greg and he's at the main library downtown. I hope that helps you.

Central City Recording

Known home of Columbus native B Banga, He got put in the spotlight when he did a couple of big tracks for Cam'ron the rapper. But he's done a lot of work before that and for many artists and various music types.

You can try the folks over at IFLO Media, north of Grandview. I think they have some good production sense. 614-291-8530.

Most up-n-coming artists do things DIY style in the bedroom/basement/garage these days. Recording studios are in the same sinking boat as mainstream labels. I would suggest looking into purchasing some basic recording equipment.
