I am a happy Macbook Pro user AND a happy Windows 7 user and a happy Windows XP user....

To the OP: EVERY initial release of an OS is going to have issues, why you think Windows 8 would be an exception is beyond me and to open a thread on it?

To msvalentine: So because someone says something negative about Windows they are automatically branded a fanbois?

The truth is Windows 8 has not been as successful as Microsoft expected...

Since you are a newbie here I highly suggest you read this if you are going to keep posting in this forum....

I don't feel there's anything new in that write-up. It just seems like a rehash of what others are concerned about. Not even a new perspective.

The difference here is that Win8's issues are not related to bugs that made it through testing or incompatibility with legacy hardware or software. Its the whole idea of trying to force one OS onto completely different devices. There's no patch for that.

I wondered about that post. I didn't see any anti-Windows rant in it, just a rehash of every other article I've read. Writer probably needed something to fill a days blog.
